Rehabilitation Services 

The Rehabilitation Services available through the Medical Center of Central Georgia are designed to assist infants, children and adults whose lives have been disrupted by a physical injury, illness, developmental delays, or the aging process in achieving an optimal level of functioning, independence and quality of life.

Your therapy program is designed to meet your specific needs and may include the following services or programs:

Scheduling Information

To schedule your first appointment, call Rehabilitation Services at 478-633-1040.
The first time you come to your scheduled appointment, you should report to therapy approximately 30 minutes early. This will allow time to gather needed information. Please arrive on time for each of your appointments. If you are late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment to prevent delays in seeing patients who are scheduled after you. If you know that you will be late, please call ahead so that special arrangements can be made for you.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Financial Considerations

Most insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid pay for therapy services. Patient Account Specialists are available to assist you with understanding your benefits and coverage information.

Where to Go

Rehabilitation Services of Central Georgia is located across the street from the main entrance of The Medical Center on the corner of Hemlock Street and New Street. Coming from I75, take the Hardeman Exit and go towards downtown until you reach 1st Street. Turn right onto 1st Street and travel one block. Turn right onto Hemlock Street and go one block. Turn left onto New Street. The first drive on your left is into our parking lot. There will be a gated arm that will lift automatically as you approach it. There is no charge for parking.

What To Do Before Your Visit

For each visit, wear loose- fitting, comfortable clothing such as sweat pants, gym shorts and flat shoes. Make sure you have the prescription for therapy from your doctor. Please bring this and any other medical information you feel would be beneficial with you.

What To Expect

You will be seen initially by one of our Patient Account Specialists in order to assist you with understanding your benefits and financial responsibilities. You will be then be evaluated by a therapist who will work with you to develop your individualized therapy goals and treatment plan.
