Beginnings Childbirth Education Programs 


Are you about to have a baby? If “yes,” consider attending any of our
Beginnings programs, which are designed to help you and your family prepare for your baby’s arrival.
Pre-registration for all classes and pre-payment for Prepared Childbirth Class is required.

Prepared Childbirth Class

This Three-week class or one day Saturday will teach you and your partner about the birthing process. You will also learn to cope with labor through practice of relaxation techniques and knowledge of medical support. Please enroll in only one session by selecting the same night of the week for Three weeks. Enroll as soon as your 13th week and chooses dates 2 months out from your due date (example: if due in March choose January classes).

Baby Care Basics Class

This two-hour class will help caregivers learn everyday baby care skills (diaper changing, feeding plans, “childproofing” your home, etc.).

Infant CPR Class

This two-hour class will teach you how to perform Infant CPR, rescue breathing, conscious and un-conscious choking skills. Based upon the current standards of the American Heart Association.

Breastfeeding

This two-hour class is recommended for all women (and their birthing partners) who are considering breastfeeding their newborn.

Sibling Class

This one and one-half hour class will help prepare your older child for the arrival of his/her new little brother/sister. Recommended for children ages 3-10.

Prepared Childbirth Refresher Class

This two-hour class will review the birthing process for women (and their birthing partners) who have previously delivered.

Car Safety Seat Class

This two-hour class will help parents learn the proper use and installation of car seats in your vehicles. Bring your car seat.
