An Internet Resource Guide for High School Students. This guide will
assist you in exploring the various health careers and provide links to
information so that you can make a more informed decision about your
future. This guide is divided into 15 career areas which include 60
specific health occupations. Good luck in making an
informed career decision.

Here is a description of the four sections of information about each
health occupation:
Career Information
This section will provide links to career information concerning each
health occupation. The first item will always refer to Statewide
AHEC Network's Health Career's in Georgia. The second item will
link you to information in the Occupational
Outlook Handbook. Following these links are additional links to career
information.
Educational Programs
This section contains Georgia educational institutions that provide
programs for a specific career. Only institutions or programs with web
pages are included. If there is no Georgia-based program, then programs in
neighboring states are included.
Professional Organizations
This section contains links to national and Georgia professional
organizations and associations related to each health career. Only
organizations with web pages are included.
Resources
This section includes any additional internet resources on each career
found during our research.
