The Medical Center of Central Georgia (MCCG) is the second largest hospital in the state with a capacity of 637 beds, which includes 34 beds leased to Regency Hospital of Central Georgia, a long-term, acute-care facility. MCCG serves 28 counties and a population of more than 750,000 people in Central and south Georgia. As a referral hospital and a level One Trauma Center, MCCG offers medical-surgical, obstetric, pediatric, and psychiatric services, as well as cardiovascular intensive care, neurology intensive care, and pediatric intensive care.
