Who works at the Neighborhood Healthcare Center ?

      The Centers are staffed by registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and others trained to help you stay healthy. Nurse practitioners (advanced educated, registered nurses) focus on wellness, prevention and education. They are able to diagnose health problems, perform physical exams, order and interpret lab tests and make referrals to other health professionals in our healthcare system.

       We encourage you to make an appointment with one of our nurses by calling the Neighborhood Healthcare Center near you.

Family Health Services:

• Treatment of minor illnesses
• Physical exams (pre–employment/sports/school/annual)
• Cholesterol checks and counseling
• Blood sugar checks
• Weight management counseling
• Hearing and vision screenings
• Family Planning/counseling
• Children's immunizations
• Flu shots (each Fall)
• HIV testing
• Blood pressure checks

Women's Health Services

• Breast exams
• Pap smears
• Pregnancy testing
• Pregnancy Care
