Central Georgia Fertility InstituteCentral Georgia Fertility Institute is a full service fertility center offering a wide range of fertility enhancing options. A team of dedicated professionals provides basic evaluations and treatments, up to the most advanced assisted reproductive technologies available. Our physicians are board certified specialists in infertility, and the center is a member of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies. In vitro fertilization, sperm injection, assisted hatching, embryo cryopreservation as well as other specialized fertility techniques are all performed on site. Non-fertility services offered include treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, hormonal imbalances and genetic disorders in both adults and children. With the our new IVF Lab, couples no longer have to travel outside Macon to undergo these procedures. We are committed to continuing the personalized care that we have become known for. At Central Georgia Fertility Institute, your success is our success.

Central Georgia Fertility InstituteAn important part of our philosophy is a team approach to healthcare. Due to the demands of providing some of the most advanced fertility therapies available, our team holds regular patient care conferences. At these meetings the physicians and nurses review and plan for each couples upcoming attempt in trying to conceive. This communication and exchange of ideas between physicians and nurses ensures that the best possible plan is developed and executed for our patients.

Our team approach extends to our patients as well. We understand that well-informed patients, who feel they are part of the process, is essential. Our staff is available to spend as much time as needed to ensure that our patients are comfortable with the therapies they will be undertaking. Fortunately most patients will not require the most advanced therapies such as in vitro fertilization. For those who do require such therapies, additional sessions with our nursing coordinators are scheduled.

Central Georgia Fertility InstituteSensitive to the need for both convenience and privacy, our facility offers a dedicated semen collection room, with connected bathroom, for the male partner of couples experiencing infertility.

Once semen is collected, it can be analyzed in the laboratory at our facility. Evaluation of the male partner’s sperm production is a critical part of every infertility evaluation. If semen is to be used for insemination, it is prepared with techniques that optimize the quality of the sperm, which will be placed into the female partner’s uterus. These sperm preparation techniques are performed in the laboratory under strict guidelines.

As part of our comprehensive approach to specialized reproductive services, we also have a dedicated financial counselor available. This individual is an expert on insurance aspects of fertility treatment and will happily assist our patients with any questions they have about their coverage.
