Nursing Research Council

• Provides mentoring, staff development, education and supports MCCG nursing in the nursing research process.
• Serves as consultant to the Practice and Quality Councils for assistance with research-based issues or projects that involve nursing.
• Conducts educational sessions annually related to research.
• Provides feedback and recommendations related to projects submitted for approval for research.
• Approves applications for nursing research and collaborates with applicant and IRB to facilitate implementation of project.
• Assists with the development and upkeep of the MCCG Nursing Research intranet site.
• Provides quarterly reports to NEC for inclusion in the overall nursing report to Administration and Board.
• Impact of Rapid Response Team (KITCAT)
